Penne All'Arrabbiata

A classic Italian pasta delight with fruity tomato sauce and pleasant spiciness.

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g penne

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 onion, finely diced

  • 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped

  • 400 g chopped tomatoes (canned or fresh)

  • 2–3 tbsp All'Arrabbiata spice mix

  • 100 g cherry tomatoes, halved

  • Salt to taste

  • Freshly ground pepper

  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

  • Optional: freshly grated Parmesan

Preparation:

  1. Cook the penne in plenty of salted water according to the package instructions until al dente.

  2. Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a large pan. Sauté the onions until translucent and briefly fry the garlic.

  3. Add the chopped tomatoes and the All'Arrabbiata spice mix.

  4. Stir everything well and let it simmer for about 10 minutes over medium heat.

  5. Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the sauce and heat for another 2–3 minutes.

  6. Season with salt and pepper.

  7. Add the drained penne directly to the sauce and mix thoroughly so that the pasta absorbs the spicy tomato sauce.

  8. Garnish with fresh basil and serve with Parmesan if desired.

Bruschetta All'Arrabbiata

Knuspriges Brot, fruchtige Tomaten und die angenehme Schärfe von All'Arrabbiata – eine mediterrane Vorspeise, die schnell zubereitet ist.

Zutaten für 4 Personen

  • 1 Baguette oder Ciabatta

  • 250 g Kirschtomaten

  • 2 EL Olivenöl

  • 1–2 TL All'Arrabbiata Gewürzmischung

  • 1 Knoblauchzehe

  • Einige Blätter frisches Basilikum

  • Salz nach Geschmack

Zubereitung

  1. Das Baguette oder Ciabatta in etwa 1,5 cm dicke Scheiben schneiden und im Ofen oder in einer Grillpfanne goldbraun rösten.

  2. Die Kirschtomaten klein würfeln und mit Olivenöl, All'Arrabbiata Gewürzmischung und einer Prise Salz vermengen.

  3. Die gerösteten Brotscheiben noch warm mit der halbierten Knoblauchzehe einreiben.

  4. Die Tomatenmischung großzügig auf den Brotscheiben verteilen.

  5. Mit frisch gezupften Basilikumblättern garnieren und sofort servieren.
