What counts as a side effect?

Side effects are unwanted reactions that occur in connection with the use of a medicine—regardless of whether they are already known or new.

Report, for example:

  • new or unusual symptoms after taking the medicine

  • interactions with other medicines

  • unexpectedly strong or long-lasting effects

  • application errors or improper use

  • suspected product quality issues (e.g., packaging, shelf life)

Even rare or initially inconspicuous observations can be significant. Your report makes a valuable contribution to drug safety.

Why your feedback is important

The safety of our products is MEDICE's top priority - even after they have been approved. This is because even the best clinical studies cannot predict all possible reactions to a drug in advance. Every person reacts differently - and that is precisely why your experience from everyday practice or treatment is so valuable.

Your report helps us to

  • identify new or rare side effects at an early stage,

  • continuously improve the safe use of our products, and

  • meet legal obligations regarding drug safety.

We take all feedback seriously – regardless of whether you are a patient, healthcare professional, or family member. Your comments are included in our internal evaluation and help us ensure the highest standards of drug safety.
