Phosphonorm®

Phosphonorm is a phosphate binder for the correction of hyperphosphatemia and contains the active ingredient aluminum chloride hydroxide complex (9:8:19) 23 H2O. It is used to reduce phosphate absorption from the intestine in patients with renal insufficiency and elevated serum phosphate levels.
